Permanent Cosmetics

What are permanent cosmetics:
Also called permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing. It is the placement of pigment under the epidermis. Aging, sun exposure, or surgery and some medications may alter pigments appearance over time, but this is permanent. Refresher appointments may be needed to keep your make up looking its best.

What to expect:
We will ask your expectations and discuss your lifestyle and health conditions, including any medication that my alter our desired results.

Immediately following procedure:
Most procedures result in some swelling and visible redness. An application of ice, and some topical lotion will be given to you for discomfort and to aid in fast healing without pigment loss.

Up to one week after procedure:
Most tenderness and swelling will be gone. There still may be peeling of the skin, and small amounts of pigment trapped in the epidermis. As the skin heals, the color will continue to change for the next couple of weeks.

One month following procedure:
Healing is complete. You might want a touchup on areas that lightened after healing. This is normal as all procedures include a follow up visit. Sunscreen and wise sun management will help preserve your makeup for years.

Lips
We can help you ad definition and fullness to the mouth, as well as correct an uneven, or disappearing lip line. We can create a natural lip tone or a more visible color.
